How to get to Silver Sands?

BY CAR:

DRIVING FROM NYC

Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) to Exit 73. Upon exiting the expressway, you will be on Route 58. Head east on Route 58 until it becomes Route 25 (which happens without any notification). Stay on Route 25 heading east towards Southold. After driving through Southold, continue east for about 5 minutes and look for our blue and white sign and distinctive seahorse logo. The sign will be on your right-hand side and is on the corner of Silvermere Road. Turn right onto Silvermere, cross the railroad tracks, and take it all the way to the end of the road where you will arrive at Silver Sands.

DRIVING FROM CONNECTICUT

The Cross Island Ferry can take cars and passengers from New London, CT to Orient Point in the North Fork. The 16-mile boat journey is just an 80-minute passage with multiple daily departures. Schedules change daily, leaving 8 to 22 times a day. Cars and passenger trucks are allowed.

NO CAR, NO PROBLEM:
